by zeke meginsky 8 years ago
I see these documentaries on TV where you will see the moving photograph, and sort of a moving light shining onto it or through it. The way I want to use it, it would emphasize the importance of the p

Is there a way to only partially dissolve Meaning one video dissolves into another but not all the way, only to 33% of the opacity, etc.

Oh, that makes it confusing. If it says "Lower" (which must not be true), then I STILL have to do a field order switch to Lower How do I do that
Which codec from MPEG Streamclip?
by zeke meginsky 8 years ago
I've been taking footage from a DVD using MPEG Streamclip. A long time ago, I used a DV codec to take it, but I've been told I lost a lot of quality that way. So now I set it on Quicktime and use the

Problem with the Animation Codec?
by zeke meginsky 8 years ago
A lot of people say to use the Animation Codec. It's a default setting in AE. It must be for a reason I was reading that it's "8 Bit". Does that mean a lot of color gets lost in digital photographs Sh

Thanks so much for the help. I'll be using the File Place method so I won't have to worry to much about the PAR. I'm hoping that mostly retains how detailed the file is. Is there any point of changing
New file and the presets

I have a question about the presets when you make a new file. I'm interested in preparing a picture in Photoshop so that it will be friendly and retain the way it should to look on TV, in FCP and Moti

If you use Place command... most sizing will be done (with ability to resize later as smart object). Th NTSC filter is for standard definition, and is a bad idea unless going to an analog system. All
