My answer to the GoPro problem is generally NOT to use a GoPro, but instead use a real camera like the Blackmagic Pocket Camera. At least then, you have interchangeable lenses, true 23.98fps recording

It depends on what your conforming for but in the majority of cases for Grade and Online I find the request is to go to DX185x. This is Avid's native codec and the X is the 10bit version. DNx220 wont

If you are editing the Canon filees without transcoding, you are doing wrong. h264 are not supported by FC. You need to transcode to Prores. rafael
