Thanks for the concern! We don't split any gear costs....He owns his things I own my own. Only thing we split is cost of upkeeping the biz....the LLC, biz cards, bridal shows, etc... We shoot weddings

You can't go wrong with Vimeo! There are some benefits to Youtube of course.....but at the end of the day I favor Vimeo, because of how much more professional it looks. =D

Hi Travis - I would take a look at the $1795 (on sale) Sony NX30. It has great in-camera stabilization, the 1080 60p that the XA10 lacks and it's less expensive than either the XA20 or the AX100. Here

Any reason why you can't just buy a piece of stock footage and use that instead. Clouds aren't easy to make look real. It's much better to use real elements if you can. --- conradolson.com
