still limited to HD resolutions. not even a single word for 2K or 4K. OK monitoring can be HD but 'K's are needed for file based workflows like as in resolve .

its very simple to render tgas and load them in afx. it's everyday procedure. don't know whethrr problem is in maya of afx. try to open the rendered tga in other applications such as photoshop or fche

if you are rendering with mental ray possible cause may be you have loaded another renderer into maya whose attributes are conflicting with mental ray(in my case it was maxwell). simply uncheck auto l

they are like AMD processors they outperform nvidia of same price but are less stable and are inconsistent in their behavior. but for raw viewport performance they are very good, especially for price

it depends upon your requirements. from my experience i would say if u r doing basic stuff that needs to look like 3d rendering then it's maya default renderer. if architectural work v ray is best. if
