Illustrator CS3 > AE7 - no layers?

when I try to bring a layered AI CS3 file into AE7 as a comp, I just get 1 layer (essentially flattened) works just fine bringing an AI CS2 layered file in.... anybody

Proably because AE 7 doesn't know there's an AI CS3 at all :) Did you enable the PDF option for AI files in the Save dialog Adolfo Rozenfeld Buenos Aires - Argentina ar(AT)adolforozenfeld.com

select the range of keyframes you want to scale - there will now be a pink line at the top of the timeline with red nubs at each end above the range of keyframes - just click and drag either red nub

this is true - the help is now HTML based (installed as a language pack, included on the install disc) I don't think R9 came with printed manuals either - only PDF (C4D 8 was the last printed manual)

it's under the pulldown to make the comp 50%, 100%, etc..... i just bet there's a key command (mac) to make the comp snap to fit the open window. thanks!
