Rendering for a kiosk
by malcolm DeSoto 10 months ago
This is kind of a weird one. I'm trying to output some simple animation in a .wmv format. I have the spec sheet which says the dimensions should be 1152x864, however; when the file is played on the sc

Looking at the spec sheet the image matrix is 7:4 while the "display setting" is 4:3. My conclusion based on the result would be that 7:4 ratio image is what they are actually showing. Kalleheikki Kan

I would recreate the road as a separate layer, getting smaller but not as much as in the drawing. Then I would precomp that, make it 3d and position it it space to match the drawing. In the precomp yo
Shooting a touchscreen for compositing

Re: Shooting a touchscreen for compositing

I've had to do this quite a bit. I've used taped on green paper. That usually works quite well. The spill has always been minimal. Depending on the angle, I've shot the hand separately in front of a g

selective depth of field?
by malcolm DeSoto 8 years ago
Have some layers set up 3D space with a camera. I have depth of field on. It all looks great aside from one layer that's way to blurry and, for various reasons, it's be easiest not to move it around.
Re: selective depth of field?

The going rate, as I understand it, for animal actors is around $300 per day. You would almost spend that on just a model (of a crow) http: www.turbosquid.com 3d-models crow-max 378194.
