In the Preset Folder Prime Materials Misc... Try the Anisotropic Radial 1 2 3 4 Materials... If necessary, customize their settings in the Attributes Manager...

Are you using R14 If so, delete the dynamics tags after the objects come to rest. Then toggle the object world coordinates icon in the top tool bar (to the right of the x y z icons) and you'll be able

A few other tricks I use to avoid adding motion blur to the entire shot: Make the corner pin a little bigger than the area you want to cover. Corner pin a solid color underneath that matches the frame
