analog to digital converter for mic to FCPX
by Claude Lyneis 9 hours ago
I need to go from a mic with analog out to USB in on my 2017 iMac, where Apple inconveniently has removed the audio in port. This is to do voice over in FCPX. Yes, I can do so with a Blue Snowball mic

A cheap-ish XLR to USB adapter will certainly work. I don t own one but I ve heard good things about the Shure, Swamp Industries, and Blue Icicle ones. Certainly they won t be any worse than the old a

I think what he's after is to have the output frame size change according to the crop like it would in if you cropped an image in Photoshop - so of you started with 1920x1080 and cropped to 220x513, t

Upgrading from twin HD displays. Anyone using curved ultra wide 21:9 monitor?

It's 2018. Not finding critical reviews of these for editing. I'm concerned that the distortion from the curve will make it hard to get graphics to line up or deal with the horizon Ergonomic advantage

If you go to Proxy in a 1080p timeline everything should look solid enough for cutting whether it's 1080p or 4K to begin with. I personally wouldn't go messing around with making my own proxies- more
