From my experience it's GPU and RAID. CPUs not so much. I run 12.5 on a 2012 MacPro as well as 2013 fully loaded. I use to have the CUBIX and a few Quadros in the past. For what I do, it was overkill.

I had the GH4 for a few years. It was B cam for my RED and could have easily handled as A cam. I am sure the GH5 will be fine. We ordered two EVA1 for corporate use. Hope to put that to the test soon.

Please try and do your first light in REDCINE-X. If you can find a decent LOOK in there then bring that back into Avid. I find the Color grading tools in Avid kinda of a hit and miss.

I've had to do this but I rendered it to the original framerate then used Adobe Media Encoder to convert to NTSC. Worked fine for me. Sorry, I cant answer your original question.

It's because the ProRes QT codec has a built-in flag that tells QT player that the source is Rec709 legal, and then expands luminance levels when you play it back on the computer screen. Try and play

Select layer and press "A". Now try and change the properties to see where the anchor point is hiding. Then try using the Pan Behind tool "Y" to select it.
