Sorry for the late update! Had connected the Ref in of the Deck and the breakout cable with the Black burst generator. Double checked and checked the correct option in the Blackmagic preferences.. but

This is the response i got.. and it worked! :) Please make sure you re using the correct IO driver version and control panel compatible with your Mac OS version. The drivers point out the requirements

Thanks Bret! It also looked good because i previewed it on an HD TV, through a Blu ray player connected by HDMI same footage played on a SD DVD player and connected through an RC cable looked crap! :)
