You might want to give Core Melt's Lock & Load plug-in a try. I find it gives excellent results and is well worth the (low) price. Warp Stabilizer is great but I think Lock & Load is even better. Down

3-4 hours into an edit, my firewire cable wiggled out and my project went offline. Usually this is no problem. I re-mount the drive, restart FCX and everything is good. This time, the app didn't open.

Alright, I think I get it. Select clips -- assign role. I can use the minimize button to shrink the tracks that I've already assigned, and then assign (or re-assign) the remaining tracks. Makes sense.
