You can add parameters of the tag (Text, or Color, for example) to the HUD and render that, but I can't find any way to render the annotation tag itself.

Choppy playback

Yeah, if they all start out in exactly the same space it won't work. Why don't you put them in a cloner set to the same number as the number of objects you have Then you can apply the random effector

What I would do is, instead of using Xpresso to drive the rotation, use a constraint tag. Then you can keyframe the influence of the constraint.
