That is kind thanks, Pat, but even if 8.6 works, I couldn't take advantage of that without upgrading to a point where I would be retiring this little camera from this purpose anyway. System Specs: MC

The letterboxing I'm after would be the result of downsizing the entire frame to 640 pixels wide, so if Streamclip could do that... Seems like Sorenson and Avid are formidable, I'd have thought there

Driver Conflict with AVID MC

Resolve Lite asks for a driver for my Quadro 2000 which, when installed, causes Media Composer to ask for a different driver. MC then asks for one which causes the same behaviour from Resolve Lite. I

Thanks Stig. I am hoping to avoid that, though. It will make Avid troubleshooting inefficient. May have to resort to something like that if I can't find another solution. I wonder if there's a way to

How to add timecode

Hi, I need to give my client a DVD of raw footage with timecode displayed. How do I do that with Vegas Pro 8.0 Thanks!
Re: How to add timecode

If I understand you, Mike, that extra step would help me place the clips into an off-line version according to my log notes, without having to manually set the Vegas-interpretted in-point. Considered
