Just shooting in the dark here, but the Anchor property of the Grid effect will max out at 655354+ so if the comp time gets to be greater than 2 minutes and 38 seconds or so, it will just stop. Dan

I'd say add some motion blur and add some shadowing on the roofs on the houses to give the viewer an idea of its relative position to the world. Hope it helps!
