Hi there...with all the reading I have done about after effects not being so great at compression I have been using the animation codec in the render output module for all my renders to keep the alpha

An advantage of using ProRes is it will play in RT in FCP in a ProRes sequence (ie. no rendering) where Animation will have to be rendered. ProRes is a very good-looking compressed format. You'll have

key light grainy key..?

hello, my key is really "grainy" pixelated looking..I shot people on green screen and they look really good, but when the footage plays after applying keylight and making a quicktime- its all grainy..

Can I add a separate material to a fillet cap on text?

If I create a text object via MoGraph Text Object and then add a Fillet Cap Is it possible to apply a material to the text and then a separate material to just the Fillet Cap Thanks, Greg

Just type "C1" for your caps(face) in the "selection" tab of the material, then "R1" for your fillets(rounds)on the other material. Must be all capital letters

What do you mean, "Not fun" It's the way this type of edit was meant to be done. It's usually not normal to move markers in such a fashion with old-skool edits, it's just coming into the workflow. By

Pretty sure project files retain their window arrangement now. So 2 different files can call up 2 different arrangements. I've also seen this travel from computer to computer as well.
