Hey guys, I have some footage that is 2K (2048x1080) and will be editing and delivering in 1920x1080. When I convert the footage and downscale it to 1920x1080 I get black bars on the top and bottom. H

Well...look at the numbers. 1920x1080 is 16:9. Your 2K footage is still 1080 high, but is wider by over 100 pixels...it's BEYOND 16:9. It's almost cinema size. You know, how Hollywood movies are still

This may help. In your sequence, on the left most column you should see a V1 (left of the Lock Track button). Click that to make sure its highlighted, it allows you to drop video to the sequence.

1. If you are using the FCP keyboard shortcuts, simply use Shift+Z as you did in FCP. Works here. 2. If you are using a 2 finger movement for vertical movement in the Timeline, this works as expected

if your Beta VTR is a UVW-1800, you CANNOT use the meters to judge audio. They do not reflect accurate audio levels. the only thing you can do is to bring up bars and tone in your FCP system, and set

The computer is pretty solid with 2.00GB of RAM and I'm running windows xp. Strange thing is that if I close out premiere and reopen the project it will render fine, for a few hours anyway.
