MXF files are a bit out of the norm, so WMP doesn't play them. HOWEVER I use MXF a LOT as my render to format and VLC plays them fine. Are you using the 64 bit version of VLC What specs did you render

Hi
i've just installed new blue fx bundle in to vegas pro 12. I already have 2 plug ins which were working recently. since installing the new blue software clicking on 'extensions' gives me the message - no extensions! the software is installed in C program files, x86 program files and I copied to sony plug ins on C drive. can anyone suggest how i can get vegas to recognise that i have extensions installed please.
I would, be exceedingly grateful.

can anyone please help I'm struggling ..... I am simply trying to produce a dvd which will play on pc and dvd player. I'm using vegas studio HD platinum and do not really understand the drop down menu which in 'make movie; gives choices. I've tried 1080ahc file, windows 11, dvd/pal (which produces very inferior results) none of the dvd architecture as i have not got it on this pc,
main concept AVc (mpg, m2vta, map). none os these files (which play on my host computer are recognised by a standard windows media programme of either of my other laptops! all the files pre burning to dvd play on my host p.c.
can anyone point me in the right direction to some understanding of "which Format and Template I should use to get a high quality dvd which plays on a dvd player and p.c.
this would be so much appreciated as I'm simple burning dvd none of which are of any use?

I've just got vegas pro 12 moving from sony studio 10 HD. I'm experiencing titling problems. The first attempt worked exactly as per sony studio and the program help suggested it would and I was able to achieve my first title clip.
The next and subsequent attempts using text plug in would not give me the 'type in your title and edit box facility' merely showing "sample" which I could not edit at all. Suggestions as to what I'm doing wrong please.
I am trying to find an Andrew Devis tutorial with titling in it but using search facility does not seem to point me to the appropriate tutorial. Help please.
