Just a thought, but have you checked the viewfinder dial settings. I manually calibrated mine to the image I was editing and marked the dial settings. Otherwise I found a great variance in what I saw

2.12 is not supported and doesn't work properly under Lion. You should upgrade to 2.13. You can find it under Applications-- Legacy Applications at http: www.sony.com xdcam-downloads

save it as a tiff with tranpsarency, then in FCP On clip right click item properties format change the alpha setting to straight. That should work.

Illustrator files automatically generate an alpha channel without having to do anything. It works fine in AE and PPRO I'd assume it will also work with FCP.

Anthony, Mark an in and out point on the time line of the keyed footage in FCP. Make sure the clip is not rendered. Rendering will make it so it generates a black background of your keyed footage when
