One other issue could be if your audio was captured at 12 bit vs 16 bit, then the audio can drift in and out of sync. In this case you cant just spot check and notice. What codec, format is the video

Not ideal, but you can also use QT to do a screen record. (much cleaner) DV+indoor flourescents+shooting an LCD= not so great. Point the camera at the screen and adjust you shutter, good luck. *Produc

Stick to FCP unless you have a high end machine. The Native H.264 is a new feature and still requires top notch Graphics Card. If you are on a laptop, transcode to ProRes and you will have alot easier
