Well if you have same name file or similar time code , this can happen you could fill in the reel number to differentiate the files , it often fixes this type of issue. my two cents FRANCOIS

I did stop fighting to preserve CC while transcoding to mp4 i extract an srt file,then I use this small software to embed as many CC as required https: itunes.apple.com ca app subtitle-writer id889582

Since you already have this computer monitor that you want to correctly calibrate, the only solution that i can think of is the use of a hardware LUT box ... most of then are SDI so a 4K HDMI LUT box

If you "click" directly on the color patch instead of the drop down arrow menu , you will get the usual apple color selector with a menu offering many ways to select color : you can choose RGB values

There is away to do this using "open" quicktime files... This is describe in TELESTREAM pipeline user guide, but I not shure if you can generate such files without a pipeline. ZAP

You should not have any trouble going FW800 to your Gdrive then looping out of the Gdrive FW800 to FW400 on the DSR40. DV or DVcam is not very heavy ( 25 mb s or about 3.2 mB s ). zap
