I've never used TAW but my suggestion... if there's no way to replace the assets, save your project. Close TAW. Navigate to where that video file is and rename it. Rename your new file to the same nam

I'm starting to think you should inspect the original source footage regarding the stuttering. The shooter may have unknowingly had the shutter set to 1 30, where it's going to repeat the first field.
QT file came out too large

Not necessarily. Most likely it means your monitor's component connection is only 480p. Use some software like MediaInfo to check and confirm the BD's attributes.

If you have Boris Continuum Complete, then you can use the UpRez filter in there. Much nicer for blowups than traditional Avid scaling. To use it, import the SD into an HD project with the setting to

meh... never mind :- It seems it only showed a few added underscore extensions in the pre-encode stage. After the encode was done all files have the _1 extension. Strange still but now I know :D

Copy them into a new numbered folder in your Avid MediaFiles MXF folders (make a folder named "5" or something, put them in there). Then use the MEDIA TOOL to find them. OR... Wait until the Avid scan

Unless this is a trick question my only guess would be that even though you say your camera is in manual mode YOU aren't manually controlling it. Just a hunch ;)

It's in the encoding you do this, NOT DVDLabPro (or any authoring program, as far as I know). Whatever encoder you're using you have to set the 16x9 flag. I typically export an anamorphic QT Ref file
