We do not own any HD decks and would like to remain a tapeless HD facility unless the camera we choose dictates otherwise. All of the video we create is posted through Final Cut or After Effects CS3.

You're right on all counts: 1) I was not aware of the PAR switch 2) It did indeed look "funny" after rotating 90 degrees; I jumped the gun on my follow-up post.

Raylight AVI's must be created by RayMaker which runs in Windows. They are either the same size as the MXF files (self-contained variety) or much smaller (proxies).
