Hello, I've been working on a long project in Final Cut Pro HD 4.5. The computer and system was struggling so I upgraded to an IMac 4k. Quite a leap. The problem now is how I can work on my project on the new computer. I tried the Final Cut Pro X trial but cannot open my project. I sent my editor friend the project xml and she resaved it in FCP7. I then tried to open her newly created xml in DaVinci Resolve Lite, but still no joy. It would not recognise the media which is on a separate drive and it can't seem to connect. I'm now thinking I may be better off migrating to Premiere Pro and have just started a trial. I tried opening the FCP7 project but it would not recognise it, itwould only read an xml from the 4.5 project but did not import any bins, sequence etc. Any advice on how sort this? Thanks
