Hello, I want to export transcode to DNxHD, but it simply doesnt show up in any way in media encoder as an option. Im on mountain lion 10.8.2 and yes, i did install the Avid codec package. Anybody got

Choose Quicktime for the Format and then you should see DNxHD in the codec drop down list.

FCP X can also use the D7000 footage straight out of the camera if you wish. I shoot about 90% of my footage with my D7000. I usually only transcode it if I'm mixing it with footage from other cameras

Dennis, what about other codecs like Cineform. Is it any better or worse than ProRes or DNxHD
