I'm not sure exactly what you're trying to do, but a simple way of changing the color of clips on the timeline is to select all the clips you want to be a certain color, then Control (on a Mac) click

Premiere Pro (2017.1.2) opens fine and I can edit a project without problem, but when I try to change to a different project (File Open Project or File Open Recent) Premiere hangs and doesn't respond.

I am having the exact same problem. Most noticeable for me with top of upper case M. In addition, I find the whole Captions window to be extremely slow and cumbersome. Any way to hop to top of caption

I just ran into this problem myself. For me, the problem was the end of the last audio repeating over a silent title until the next audio clip started. One person mentioned it was fixed by turning on

Really depends on your hardware. FCPX rocks at this on decent hardware. But older versions of FCP7 Premiere Pro you'd likely need to batch transcode to 1080p before ingesting. You could use Compressor

I found the answer from someone on the Adobe Elements Forum - I had to trash the Media Database file (in Library Application Support etc) and force PS Elements to recreate it. Then all worked again.

The component output of the JVC HD100 in HDV mode is 720p30 (or 24 if set that way). The newest JVC's can record in 720p60, but not the HD100.
