I know I'm late to this thread since you're happy but thought I'd add this: I use P2 cams and they record the external mikes and internal mike as four mono or two stereo which appear in FCP X even tho

If you highlight the keyframes on the ends of the bar, you can use CTL + - to raise and lower that section. You can use the range tool (R) to lasso keyframes. Andy https: plus.google.com u 0 107277729

Try this... (I call it "3-bucket logging") Setup the browser in the Spreadsheet mode, not icon mode. (optional, but I find it works best.) Now the up and down arrow keys do 2 things. Moves to the next

All great ideas. You could select the two redundant keywords in the browser, which would display both sets as a whole, and then apply the desired keyword to them all. Then simply delete the undesired

You could create "top level" keywords to group related keyword clips. And don't forget about Smart collections; "show me clips with top-keyword "A" AND sub-keyword "g" AND keyword "good soundbite". I

I used to have hickups in FCPX related to FCPX trying to authorize system.burn (service ). Note that I dont have original Apple DVD drive. It is very uncommon but who knows, maybe it will be your case

I agree. On our Thunderbolt iMac bays FCPX playback performance is perfect for broadcast monitoring. But on our current MacPro systems we do get an occasional hiccup, especially with larger and comple

Further refining the technique in which in and out points (range) is EASILY remembered. Mark In and Out point (range). Press F to make range a Favorite (remembers range). Note Green bar at top of clip
