Just be aware that the Thunderbolt or USB layer speed doesn't matter if you're only using 1-2 spindles (drives) since each drive will be the bottleneck. You won't see a real boost in performance unles

Actually, it won't be slower, because a Thunderbolt version of that drive wouldn't be faster. A 1 or 2 spindle solution (depending on which MyBook you purchased) is only going to hit 100MB sec or 200M
