Clark....you have to use XDCAM Transfer, but that hasn't been a problem for us. I've never hd any problems with it. Log and Capture within FCP does not work.

Most commercial fonts already contain the characters with these accents and marks. If you're running windows you can go Start...Programs...Accessories...Character Map to see them within your font list

Well THAT stinks! But thanks for the heads-up. I haven't tried to take anything out of a DVD player via the HDMI connector, so now I will have an idea of why it may not work.

Adrian, We have both a Kona 3 and an Io-HD on two separate systems. The Kona 3 will give you more options in the HD rhelm, like uncompressed HD and dual-link 4:4:4 stuff, but we don't need any of that
