Grain noise doesn't deal with compression that well. If this is really important to you I'd look for another service to host your videos.

You need to turn it into a compound clip first. Then it'll show up. This also works for other generated clips like color bars and ramps etc.

Instead of trying to lop off the wart you would need to make a clean fingertip and track that in place. If the finger is moving around in three dimensions then it starts to get impossible.
