I've also sent bug report of this to Apple. Actually this bug is not restricted only to generators. All titles, transitions and generators rerender on export if you've used dropzones in those template

I was testing this same issue last spring and my assumption is that Premiere shows Quicktime ProRes files on monitor or through video I O (we hava AJA IO XT) as 8-bit but actually processes files as 1

Not sure if all CC apps get it but at least Premier Pro CC in OSX 10.8 or later has a proper 64-bit ProRes-engine now. No more complaining about 32-bit QuickTime being the fault of issues! :)

Color correction doesn't make pictures softer in FCPX because it's native effect in FCPX. Keyer is also native and drop shadow. All Motion Template based effects soften non-square material. So pretty

I agree that transitions in Premiere are really weak. Most plugins I've tried don't work as transitions, they work as effects in Premiere Pro so that's why you have to have videos in two tracks etc. t

premiere is codec-agnostic. It works well with whatever you import. literally smooth as butter. I've used: NXCAM F35 RED ProRes P2 XDCAM It all just works, and very smoothly if you have a Quadro card

No you're not missing anything. At the moment FCPX handles Motion files with normal quality when playing realtime and in best quality when rendering. Motion blur is on off based on settings in Motion

You can bring some .qtz files (screensavers, animations etc.) straight to timeline but Phil is talking about iChat effects (which should work as filters) and you'll get only black screen if you bring

Yes you can of course deinterlace in another program and then bring clip to Episode. But if you're encoding H.264 for example (or WMV if you have Flip4Mac WMV Studio Pro HD) it doesn't make any sense.
