non linear transform?

is it possible to do a non linear transform example: i need to reduce the width of an image from lets say 1024 to 800. height value stays unchange. BUT I dont want that all pixels are treated the same

Make sure you are saving in a file type that saves the transparancy data, like .PNG or .PSD

Correct me if I'm wrong, but I believe the problem here is that the stroke effect isn't smooth, because the layer edges aren't smooth. To get smooth layer edges you should cut out your images carefull

I'm using CS and Bridge is opened when I press CTRL+ALT+C. Very annoying, since it's supposed to bring up the canvas size dialogue. You should be able to open Bridge with a button on the toolbar. In C
