Abstarct Form in After Effects

Hello, does anyone know how can i recreate this abstract form animation in the intro of the news https: www.youtube.com watch v=p3r8tjHsEOM
Re: Abstarct Form in After Effects

Absolutely - you might need particular to do that curving membrane at the end, but if you didn't want the final "curl over", all of that is flat and just placed in 3D space and doable without plug ins
More Ram or Upgrade NVME M.2 SSD HDD?

Hi, I'm curious if I would do better to first upgrade my system RAM from 16 GB to 32GM specifically for improved rendering times I'm not quite sure how the cache works. Currently I have my cache folde
Re: More Ram or Upgrade NVME M.2 SSD HDD?

It used to be that AE would only use so much ram no matter how much you had. Given the history of AE I'll bet that's still the case. So I would suggest a faster drive and make your cache drive a drive
After Effects not using CPU even with simple video conversion.

Hello everyone. I'm very new to this forum and this is my first post. the reason i'm here is because I am confused about something which I hope someone could solve my problem. When I export the video

Perhaps AE isn't pegging the procs because it's not doing pesky routines like "memory management" or "cache clearing" - yes I'm taking to you Adobe! Here is my guess as to what's going on. In PP you a
Tracking a rotating head in AE - is it possible?

I'm trying to place a 3D model of a helmet onto a real person's moving head in a video clip with AE and Element 3D (for the model). I first tried tracking part of the face in Mocha AE. That works grea
Re: Tracking a rotating head in AE - is it possible?

Yes you can certainly do the HitFilm trick. AE can have nulls in 3D (or at least pseudo 3d) and using expressions you can make another 3d layer that has been dragged about by a 2D track always point t
Creating and animating displacement in a video/photo?

I saw this effect is numerous videohive projects, and I was curious about how it is done. Here are some image examples: Thanks in advance!

Use Greg's suggestion of Displacement effect but use a noise on another layer as the source for the diplace. If you use a large scale version of the cell noise or a few others you will get exactly thi

Re: extract colors for masking ( reverse Material ID feature )

I see what you are trying to do. Wouldn't it just be easier to paint with flat color in layers in BP. Each layer would be self alphing and you could turn each on and off for your masks in AE. I mean,

Normally the LUT is just so a 32 bit file can be seen on an 8bit monitor. So if you work in 32bit and render back to the same format in 32bit, nothing should change. Check your color managment in AE t

Apparently there is a bug in QT7 that does not allow correct sound sync when encoding FLV's. We have run into that here. But if you go back to QT6 or 6.5 you won't have any problems. SB
