Dynamic texture mapping using video on top of 3d models?

I'm trying to develop 3d clothing with videos projected onto the fabric, in order to make the prints on the clothing animated. I can't find a tutorial that covers anything close to this for any progra
Re: Video as a texture on 3d models?

The whole point of projection mapping in the real world (as in that video) is to give the illusion that the projected image is attached to the fabric and moves with the person. The beauty of doing thi
Animate spline objects

Re: Animate spline objects

If you need easing (PLA can't do easing) you can link each node on the splines to a different null using xpresso and then animate the nulls instead of the nodes, and then you can use fcurves for easin

Without seeing the file or an image of the scene, its hard to advise. Could you use primitive cylinders instead You can keep these "low" poly but have them render perfectly smooth. Is there a reason y

You can use Sketch and Toon to animate "drawn" strokes generated from geometry - but based on your animation I'm not sure if you have any geometry other than planes. Are those images on planes PLA ani
Copy UV points from 1 piece to another within the same mesh

I'm not sure if this what you are trying to do but you can cntrl drag (copy) the UV tag to another object that has the same geometry. Any maps you ad to that new objects will map the same way the orig

Or you could tie the points of the spline to nulls with xpresso and then jiggle the nulls. This also allows you to apply an over arching animation with the kind of easing you can't do with PLA.

You can also turn on ambient occlusion and that will create darkness where two planes of geometry join. Its a self shading problem, but it might also be the size (detail) of your shadow map. If the sh

Each cloner will probably need its own effector. If you share the effector any offsets can't be calculated properly for both cloners at the same time.
