Try 8. You have loads of RAM so it will get shared out nicely over 8 instances! I suggest running a few compression tests. Every system has it's own nuances.. either way, it is better than 2!! G'luck!

Sounds like a permissions issue -Compressor cannot load your chosen font so it does a substitution. Make sure all the fonts are installed under Computer, not User in Font Book Then repair permissions.
