It looks like to me that there is a problem with the iris not opening up. The first thing I would try is to reset the camera. Also make sure you check all of your settings. If it still does not work t

Yes, it defiantly sounds like you are have a problem with your tape mechanism. The one thing that i would say is it's NOT a dirty head problem, so don't keep trying to fix it with a head cleaner tape.
