As long as the footage is in with the native frame dimensions, and you use Frame Flex... 1800 divided by two is 900...so not QUITE 50%...I'd say 60% or so. No, this isn't zooming in 160%...Frame Flex

Yeah, that would be a BIG difference. Taking your 30p and converting it to 24p Yeah, that's removing 6 frames per second, and it will look darn choppy. If you shoot for cinema or web, shoot 24fps...23

Yes...compound clips from FCX are a big issue. They most likely are the cause of this slow import as well. Commit the edits on the FCX side, so collapse the compounds. And then export the XML. I sugge
