Try to stay as low as possible, but I wouldn't surpass 1600 ISO. Yes, you can see in the dark but its just not worth it. If it looks ok in the LCD wait till you import it. *Production*Post-Production*

also one lovely thing about the 60D is it has a swiveling viewfinder. If you've ever used a camcorder and then switched to a DSLR for video you may find the fixed display maddening to work with. Noah

I had this problem once using standard DV files. My solution at that time was to render the project out to a new DV file, pop that new file on a new timeline, and it printed to tape fine - with audio.

There's no right-side audio so make it mono instead. Right-click the audio event and select "Channels - Left Only".

Open the Task manager (CTRL, ALT, DELETE together)and see whats using the most memory (Processes) and view the CPU usage (Performance) while you work in Vegas. I'm assuming it was working fine before

If you're referring to the transition time when adding images to the timeline, this is selected and specified in two different areas. Both are in Options - Preferences - Editing. Enable Automatically
