I considered getting a Pegasus2 but I went with the Areca b c I heard the P2 doesn't use enterprise drives. Areca with WD REs ended up being about the same price for a comparable size.

I know the Blackmagic needs to be an end chain device. I am not sure about the Matrox. I have installed Aja and Blackmagic together and it works fine so it should work if the software can handle it. E

GTX cards are definitely the way to go for Premiere. To get a Quadro card with the same performance as a GTX680 you'd have to spend thousands.

You should consider getting a GTX670 or GTX680 card. Not sure if they're in your price range but either one of those cards can run a triple monitor setup on its own and will do great in After Effects
