Apparently there are other ways to accomplish this besides a cable, for instance InfraRed remote shutters can trigger more than one camera at a time and I also read that pocketwizards can be used to c

A very good point, thank you. We are likely going to burn everything to a DVD in SD quality but use a blu ray player (technically a playstaion 3, oddly enough) to upconvert on playback to match with t
audio in log and transfer--try this
by David Coleman 11 years ago
I've had this bug intermittantly and it drives me crazy. You open log and transfer like before, but this time you can't hear the audio, so you can't log and transfer sound bites. Restarting sometimes

I've run into this problem as well. Usually I just quit and reopen and it fixes itself. Am I correct in assuming no one knows the cause of this

I have both those items and smoothcam still does not show in Final cut. (I assume you were referring to 'proapps' in the application support under macintosh hd and not under the user folder's library

I have recently shot some footage for this project I'm working on at 720 24p, thats what the HVX-200 was set to shoot at. But when I import it into FCP it comes up as being 59.94. Now this is not bei

Just curious to know how to lower the frame rate on the HVX. I know under recording settings you have 720p60 or 720p24, etc. but lets say I wanted to shoot at 16 frames, can I do that And where would
Re: Change frame rate on HVX

If you import into a timeline at say, 720p24p, then final cut should play it back at 24 fps and give you a sped up look. Make sure to check all your capture settings and sequence settings to ensure th

AVCHD vs. P2

Re: AVCHD vs. P2

I've shot several films on the HVX-200 to P2 cars at 720p. For that I believe you'd need Final Cut pro. But the P2 workflow is very easy to work with and it really will sell you on non linear recordin
