the trick is to make a tracking chart and film it wiggle the camera the way you want it to look then import the clip and track the points you want to use and then apply the motion to the clip you want

When you transcode the original 5D .mov's in compressor to an edit friendly codec (e.g prores) compressor will automatically add a timecode track that starts at 00:00:00:00. Good luck!

same as my last post! 1 thing i did not mention... open the QT movie in question hit 'apple & j' and tick the high quality box! ( & de-interlace if your footage is interlaced) all the best

I would suggest doing the best possibly quality down-conversion to an i-frame codec before encoding to MPEG-2 DVD I find that mpeg encoders are generally stupid & will not incorporate any clever down

I would strongly advise you not to do a down conversion in this manor, that is if you intend to retain as much of your picture quality as possible... for this type of workflow I would firstly reccome
