If you want a workaround, set your handles to something huge like 1 minute, 2 minutes, 5 minutes, whatever. Color will render whatever handles you want for each clip. I've never tried more than 2 seco

If it "went bad," throw it out. If you want to test it first, I recommend doing a zero-wipe format in Disk Utility, then reformatting it in your camera. If your card is iffy, the zero-wipe will throw

The short answer: If you don't know why you'd need the HM790, you don't need it. Get the HM700 -- it'll be great for what you need. Essentially same sensor, same recording format, same picture control

Mark Cansino "comes with a 15-55mm lens." Don't bother -- it's an awful lens. Can't even get its value reselling it on eBay. 10-15 minutes is your limit. If you're making "films," it'll be no problem
