Audio cuts out when shuttling

The audio cuts out when shuttling 2x speed or faster (when pressing 'L' key twice). Normal playback sounds fine. Scrubbing over the timeline at any speed sounds fine. The sequence is rendered. Just on

That's what I thought. It's frustrating when color grading. If I have an adjustment to a clip that needs to apply to several other clips, it gets messy fast. Obviously not the best program for grading
