If you want to stay in the Avid DNx world you'll need to move DNxHR. It's suitable for 4K deliberables. As the DNxHD codec is named, it only covers resolutions up to HD. DNxHR is what Avid released as

It depends how close they get to the lens. The two settings are minimum focus limiters so the 2.5mm-infinity has less distance to travel if the things you are focusing closest to are 2.5m or further a
