Adding deleted audio back into sequence?
by Ryan Bercaw 6 years ago
Hi everyone, I recently cut together a 3 camera shoot and learned after the fact that the audio track I used was not the master from the correct camera. So I have 3 video tracks synced and edited down

Match frame was exactly what I needed since it shows the in and out of each selected clip allowing me to pull the right audio piece by piece. Thanks a lot, saved me a ton of time :D
Filmed gravel with 60D, looks wacky
by Ryan Bercaw 7 years ago
Hi everyone, over the weekend I shot a personal project at a dig site. I've never shot anything like this before and while the footage loks great overall, there are a couple shots where I'm relatively

I was afraid that was the case. Just one more follow up question. I know that Sorenson and Compressor offer a few aliasing options depending on what codec you're choosing. I don't know anything about
Premiere 5.5 Exports contain crazy glitch in highlights
by Ryan Bercaw 7 years ago
Hi everyone, I've been editing a project in Premiere Pro 5.5. The footage was shot on a 60D and then transcoded to DNxHD 145 before editing. I edited the first draft on a Mac and exported it as Prores

Linking the sequence to After Effects and exporting from there worked fine (and I tried DNxHD, MPEG2, and MP4), but I'm still hoping someone can shed some light on why exports from Premiere are sudden

by Ryan Bercaw 8 years ago
Hi guys, I use a Vixia HF s21 that shoots 1080i30 as AVCHD. The whole time I've had the camera I've simply been using FCP7's log and transfer to bring the footage in as Prores 422. I've never had a si

by Ryan Bercaw 8 years ago
I'm editing footage for a client that they shot in 1440x1080. The raw footage plays in 16:9, and that's how I edited it in the FCP 7 timeline. The problem is that the final product that I exported con

Simple masks not working correctly.
by Ryan Bercaw 8 years ago
Hi guys, I'm having a sudden issue I never experienced before in a very simple and straight forward project. I'm afraid it's something very easy to fix but I can not for the life of me figure it out.

Thanks for the quick response. What I was saying about the full screen was just that it was staying a solid and not conforming to the shapes, and I was definitely looking at the comp window, not layer
Vixia HF s21 24p AVCHD Workflow Question
by Ryan Bercaw 8 years ago
Hi guys, long time reader, first time poster. I recently purchased a Vixia HF s21. At first I had been filming at 1920x1080 30p at 24mbps and transferring the footage on Final Cut's ProRes 422 codec.
