Converting 23.98 to 24fps

Hi. I have an HDCam tape thats recorded in 23.98fps, but I need to play it back at 24fps. I have the sound on seperate wav files, but this will cause problemes when my picture is 24fps and audio is 23

I've done a lot of this type of conversion for digital cinema distribution. I capture tapes at 23.98. Then I use Apple's Cinema Tools to conform the file to 24. This only changes the playback rate of

I'm not sure how Resolve does it, but editing with ProRes files then reducing the sequence to one track and kicking out an EDL works really well for us with Scratch. We just copy the EDL and the R3D f

1. I see flawed organizational problems in FCPX that are not compatible with post production facilities needs. 2. I don't know if I trust apple to fix these fundamentally flawed designs. Russ Russell

I strongly suggest an offline online mentality for AVCHD. Here are the steps: 1. Copy all AVCHD folders to a drive 2. Import the AVCHD folder to log and transfer 3. Import as ProRes Proxy 4. Edit 5. M

I've received some stock footage from the CBC. It's in "Avid mpeg-imx" format. I discover they don't provide that codec in the free downloads unless you own an Avid "because of licensing issues." Nat
