Between FCPX, Adobe Premier, and Media Composer (or others), which NLE has given you the least problems with Sony EX footage and SxS cards I use FCPX the most and subscribe to Adobe Premier CC when FC

Many years ago I was looking for a stable reliable editing software program . I tried most of the ones mentioned here and found Canopus which finally became edius (grassvalley) and never looked back.

I shot with my Sony EX-1 last Friday, at a theme park for a client's company party. And their media rep brought me a 64 GB Sony SxS card, and it worked like a charm. But also, I sent my camera to Sony

Thanks for your post Michael. All of my cards with the exception of one are "PRO" cards. I have one SXS -1 32 gig card. I think that when it gets new the end of it's life that there is some warning. N

Make sure all the cameras are EX-1 cameras and not a mixture of EX-1R and ex-1 cameras. The latest firmware is different. The ex-1R cameras will more than likely work with the large cards if the firmw

Thanks Jim for your reply... I would like to be able to use the Atomos recorder in a hand held situation rather than on a tripod. Having to use the record button on the Ninja would make it cumbersome.
