Magix 14 Compatible with 4K Camcorder?
by John Lee 2 months ago
I have Magix 14 and just bought a Sony AX33 4K camcorder. Looking at the project properties, the closest thing I see is "HD 720-60P (1280x720) 59.94 fps". Is that the best (and only) setting I can use

When I started to work with 4K I found I needed a much faster computer to handle the preview. That was an expensive issue to deal with. Roger Bansemer - PaintingAndTravel.com

Howdy VegHeads! OK, recently I answered a query that made me think of employing a process to isolate an area of Patty's video. I alluded to this process but failed to make a link to the 9 year old Tut

Top-down processing of layers
by Ďuďu Fridák 4 months ago
I've noticed that, unlike other video-editing software i've used so far, Vegas is processing layers bottom-up. I'm used to order them other way around, is there any way to invert this option
Re: Top-down processing of layers

I'm quite sure there isn't. The front layer in Vegas is always the top (upper) track. So something like text is always above the track below it. Roger Bansemer - PaintingAndTravel.com
Lop-sided picture - how to fix?
by Patrick Cooper 4 months ago
There's some super 8 4:3 footage that Ive imported into a 16:9 timeline with various 16:9 clips. I wasn't happy with the composition of one of the super 8 shots (too much empty space on the right) so

After you click on the Pan crop, right click on the video event with the dotted lines around it. Then click on "Match Output Aspect". Then I think you'll be able to resize the event (clip) the way you

I'm not sure I'm understanding your question but I don't think it matters what video formats you put on the timeline. Vegas will render out your video in whatever properties you have set it to and it

I can't believe Catalyst is saying it is a way to do a storyboard and there is no way to shuffle clips around and then do a batch rename. I've brought this up to them but they don't respond. Roger Ban
