I think your only alternative is Sony USB reader.. if speed isn't a problem.. I think they still sell the USB2 unit which is cheaper.. or try Sonnet express card reader.. its much cheaper but is TB ..

Zacuto do a very good EVF.. from the HDMI plug.. which is ofcourse the weak point .. a few companies have been clever and seen a market for EVF with these camera,s that can be used for profession work

I just updated my nanoflash from V 1.1.154 to Version 1.5.126 which supports overcrank, now I still have problems importing the overcrank footage to Avid. Im thinking that my settings were incorrect.

you can only crank to 50.. with camera set to 720p 50p.. cant set crank to more than your camera is out putting.. so crank 25-50.. As far as my understanding goes..
