Actually, there is not globally preferred alpha, be it straight or premultiplied. In the end, if the math is done correctly (i.e. the interpretation is set correctly), then both will deliver perfectly

Yes, you can certainly animate a text path, if that's what you mean. Turn on Record Animation, select the Edit Points tool and keyframe your path - or you can simply rotate it or scale it or whatever

Motion's tracker is a point tracker. You really need a planar tracker to do what you want. Sometimes you can get it to work - make sure you are doing a Corner Pin track - but really, much better to us
