Rob Gutermuth 5 years ago
This is really more a toast question, but I figured with so many people on here using Canon card cameras now, you could help me out...

so, I recorded something with my new Canon m550 - 50 mins long - I can see that the camera wrote 4 files, each about 16 mins long, last one shorter...

so, in toast, it will see them, and convert them to HDV files and I can import them into FCP no problem...

however, when I butt end them together, they are not seemless, meaning that there are missing/repeating frames at the point where the two join...

I know in FCP on an intel mac, I can just import the folder with a log and transfer, but I have a PPC mac, and it doesn't see those files... kind of a tease since in there, they have the options, etc, but it must be assuming you are running it on an intel mac...

Toast does this conversion really nicely actually, but is this an issue with the index file, or what? - how can I make those 4 files into one perfect file?

Thanks
