Architect shutting down with Sony AVC file

I rendered a project in Vegas Pro 9 using a Sony AVC format. The video was about 1 hour and 17 min. It took about five hours to render this. I tried to use this file in Architect Pro 5. Every time I t

DVDa only needs to analyze a given video once. After the first analysis a file is written with the necessary info. From that point on DVDa will simply refer to the file.

Can't Import AVI H264
by Ken Matson 8 years ago
A client gave me an SD card with AVI files on it from his consumer camcorder. I tried to open in Vegas but it either says "can't open" or I just get the "no drop" icon. GSpot identifies it as a H.264

Rendering slow down Vegas 10 v s Premier Pro
by Larry Rantapaa 8 years ago
When I render a 3 min avchd clip with an mp3 clip to dvd(ntsc)mpg the cpu usage drops from over 90% to less than 20%. Ram usage goes from 4gb to over 10gb. It takes 6 min on my i7 2600k with 12gb ram

A faster cpu. Vegas (with exception to avc rendering) is completely dependent on cpu power. However P Pro 5 or better is pretty hard to beat in terms of speed.

You can't use the AC3 studio encoder with Blue Ray.... it's good only for dvd. You must use the PRO encoder to avoid re-compressing for blu ray.

After several weeks of trying to get my camera tracks to synchronize properly with a pre-recorded mp3 I have finally determined that the mp3 is about 3 or 4 tenths of a second longer than the camera t

You can increase dynamic ram in the 32bit version to a max of 3072Mb, but it requires resetting the 1024 max setting in internal settings. The question is do you REALLY need more than 1gig You do know
Memory Usage and Dynamic Ram Preview Question
by Mark Prebonich 8 years ago
I just upgraded my memory from 4 to 8GB. I previously had been using only around 2.5 GB when rendering. I see that I am still using only about that same amount even after the upgrade (not really any d
Re: Memory Usage and Dynamic Ram Preview Question

If you actually use dynamic preview (SHIFT B) then go ahead and increase to suit your needs. But if you don't use SHIFT B then it's just a waste of memory and you should leave it where it is.
DTS HD and encore
by William McQuay 10 years ago
Any idea when and if Encore will allow for importing of DTS HD like it now does with standard DTS Bill McQuay wmcquay@me.com
Re: DTS HD and encore
by Rob Franks 10 years ago
I wouldn't hold my breath waiting. Encore doesn't even support uncompressed 5.1 at this stage. I use DTS hd for Blu Ray and TSmuxer (free download) will accept DTS-HD (and uncompressed) and create Blu
